Literally, The Police State Is Coming

In between bowls of chicken poodle soup and deciding to provide air cover for al-Qaeda in Syria, our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama, found time to meet with mayors from our crumbling major cities.

From Justin Sink of The Hill:

***

"President Obama told a collection of big-city mayors Tuesday at the White House that he would continue to use executive actions to combat gun violence plaguing major cities.

In the meeting with Attorney General Eric Holder and the mayors of 18 cities from across the nation, Obama discussed commonly applicable strategies to reduce youth violence.

'He also vowed to continue doing everything in his power to combat gun violence through executive action and to press Congress to pass common-sense reforms like expanding the background check system and cracking down on gun trafficking,' the White House said in a statement."

***

Once you get past the fact that this is the President of the United States talking about violating the Constitution he swore to Allah to uphold, this doesn't seem to be what Joe Bite Me would term a "big f'ing deal". At first glance, the above looks like Barry is just being Barry, pandering to his moonbat base that is getting more and more fed up with the fact that he can't lower the oceans and keep the United States from waging war on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.

But of course, that view is criminally negligent. We no longer live in times that allow us to shrug our shoulders and say, "Naah, that could never happen here." We now live in times that force us to say, "I sure as hell hope that ain't true." This a very big "f'ing deal", indeed.

You see, ladies and gentlemen, this meeting, much like the Obamacare meetings, was held behind closed doors. Just like nothing good happens after midnight, nothing good happens when Marxists meet behind closed doors.

Of course, out of this circus of stupidity came the obligatory statement from Obummer that he was going to unilaterally write and enforce his own gun control regulations. Naturally, that was as predictable as Candy Crowley going to town at a buffet. I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say it involves the Federal Leviathan treating the Constitution like old chewing gum on the sole of its jackboot. Basically, King Hussein has decided that his subjects may not purchase imported World War II-era M1 Garand rifles and now the gang members in his adopted hometown of Chicago can't use corporations to buy their "gats". But that can't be the only thing they talked about. The mayors couldn't have possibly flown thousands of miles to clap like overfed seals to hear applause lines that aren't going to do a blessed thing to stop crime.

Perhaps they were discussing this, or a plan like it, all in the name of public safety of course:

"An organization representing police chiefs from major cities around the U.S. is promoting an initiative to strengthen intelligence collection at the local level, increasing the integration of state and local law enforcement into the larger structure of the U.S. intelligence community.

In 2011, the Major Cities Chiefs’ Association (MCCA) began the initiative aimed at strengthening domestic intelligence collection efforts and creating a 'more defined, whole-of-government architecture that interconnects and better integrates state and local criminal intelligence and counterterrorism operations.' The Major Cities Chiefs’ Criminal Intelligence Enterprise (CIE) is an effort to create 'better connectivity' between 'state and local counterterrorism and intelligence units and among locally-led operations, fusion centers, and federally-led operations' such as Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTFs) and Field Intelligence Groups (FIGs). The initiative is being organized around the  pre-existing infrastructure of the Major Cities Chiefs’ Intelligence Commanders Group (MCCICG), a working group of the MCCA that played a significant role in creating the unified national suspicious activity reporting process."

Well, whaddaya know ? 16 of the 18 cities had a police chief that is a member of the MCCA! What a co-winkydink!

Now here's the funny part. The MCCA, in addition to wanting to create its own Mini-Me NSA, wants to slice and dice our Right To Bear Arms.

***

"That’s why we [the MCCA] looked to the U.S. Senate for courage and leadership on gun violence, to enact reforms that are long overdue. With 94 % of the public asking for better gun laws, we expected the Senate to do what cops do–protect the public. But a minority of Senators protected themselves instead of the American people. That’s a disgrace.

A handful of courageous Senators had offered bills to enact modest Federal reforms intended to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill, laws already on the books in many of the States. None of the proposed reforms would have taken guns from anyone and there were no plans for gun registration or licensing. Nothing to threaten those who own guns for recreation, sporting and hunting. But the gun lobby said 'No' to all of it, and when weak Senators caved into the pressure, these common-sense measuresdid not pass. Not one of them......Like all the cops who put on a uniform each day, Chiefs of Police will not give up
on Washington. We will continue our struggle for laws that protect the public from gun violence. Just  as the public knows their police will be there for them, the Chiefs want Americans to know that we are not giving up and going away. This was a week that should forge a new resolve.
The grief of the Newtown families and spirit of Boston’s citizens and police will not be lost on those of us who are committed to public safety."

A Snowden Job For The Ages

Our dog eating Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama, had this to say about the "phony" NSA spying scandal during his August 9th "press" conference:

***

"As I said at the National Defense University back in May, in meeting those threats we have to strike the right balance between protecting our security and preserving our freedoms."

http://www.npr.org/2013/08/09/210574114/transcript-president-obamas-news-conference

Ladies and gentlemen, the above quote needs to be immortalized in some way. Perhaps it should be carved into the base of the Statue of Liberty or onto the side of a mountain. Maybe children should be forced to memorize it in their union infested government run schools, or better yet, children should be forced to recite it after turning their parents in to Thinkpol.

You see ladies and gentlemen, there isn't a better example than the above quote of what kind of fascist pig Barack Hussein Obama truly is.

In the above quote, the Indonesian raised Obama basically states that the federal government can eat away at our freedom for whatever reason it feels like. Now of course, this isn't news. We the Victims have watched Obama's circus of destruction-like administration wreak havoc on our rights and the Constitution in many, many ways. We've seen Obama unilaterally decide to declare war on Libya, we've seen Obama change Obamacare on a whim several times, we've seen the IRS attempt to silence Conservative dissent, and we've seen the charge to obliterate the Second Amendment and harass journalists, just to name a few crimes against the Republic.

However, this is different.

Now he's claiming the government can shred the Constitution in the name of national security, sort of like, Godwin's Law be darned, Adolf Hitler did when he pushed the Enabling Act through the Reichstag.

Don't get me wrong: I'm all for the War on Terror. I fully support the idea of dispatching Islamonazis to Allah. But let's not kid ourselves. The NSA spying program has absolutely nothing to do with national security. If it did, wouldn't the feds have caught on to Tamerlan Tsarnaev after he made his Islamonazi Youtube page, for example ? Here's another:  How did Edward Snowden walk out of the NSA with four laptops full of classified data and hop on a plane headed to Hong Kong while telling his superiors he was taking time off for the treatment of epilepsy ? These are just a few examples, and I'm sure you come up with quite a few yourself.

The camera (literally and figuratively---take a look around at your nearest intersection.) is pointed at us, not them. Apparently, We the People Who Foot The Bill For All of This are a far greater threat than genocidal Jihadis bent on enslaving the Free World to Shariah Law. (2+2=5 indeed!)

Now that the common sense part of the program is out of the way, here's another question: Where in the heck does the Constitution mention anything about striking "right balance" when comes to any of our rights ? Our rights were given to us by our Creator, not by the federal government, and yes, they are unlimited. Now, I know there will be those who toss out lame examples like "you can't shout 'fire' in a movie theater," or "we have the right to bear arms, but you can't put land mines in your front yard". These arguments are nothing more than the needless slaughter of straw men. The only thing we can't do as a free people is violate the rights of others while exercising our rights. Shouting "fire" in a movie theater isn't illegal in itself, but creating a public disturbance is. We can't have landmines in our yards because they're a danger to the community. (Guns have triggers and require the user to pull them to fire. Regardless of what the libtards would have you believe, guns don't just fire all willy nilly on their own.)

Here's the only "balance" that was recognized by the "old white guys" (aka--The Founders) who wrote the United States Constitution when it comes to being harassed by any level of government:

***

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

***

Yep, that's the Fourth Amendment. We the People have the right to live our lives as we see fit and as long as we're not breaking the law or violating the rights of others. Owning a telephone or surfing the internet doesn't create the probable cause described in the Fourth Amendment. Neither does being at war. Actually doing something creates probable cause. For example, calling Taliban held territory in Afghanistan on a regular basis creates probable cause. My wife calling me to demand that I bring home milk does not create probable cause. (And not for nothing, Islamonazi terrorists don't use the internet or cell phones to communicate. They, like the mob, use couriers, kind of like the one that was followed to track down Osama Bin Laden.)

The bottom line is this: We're on the edge of complete economic, political, and social disaster. The Snowden Job shows just how close we are to that edge.

Why Should I Vote GOP ?

As a Conservative, I hold these truths to be self evident, in no particular order:

  • Life begins at the moment of conception. Abortion, for any reason real or imagined, is murder.
  • The Right to Bear Arms is an unalienable right that the government cannot infringe on in any way. Background checks, "assault weapon" bans, magazine capacity rules, and the like are completely unconstitutional.
  • Global warming is as much of a fraud as the "Next Ice Age" scare of the 1970's.
  • Illegal aliens are criminals and should be treated as such. There should be no amnesty for illegal aliens whatsoever. All illegal aliens should be deported without exception.
  • The Constitution should be interpreted exactly as it's written without exception.
  • Marriage is between a man and a woman only.
  • Capitalism is the only economic system that works.
  • Radical Islam is just as dangerous as the Axis Powers and the Soviet Union.

 Basic stuff, right ?

For We the Conservatives, absolutely. This is our meat and drink. This is who we are. The above self evident truths are in our souls. The vast majority of us are not willing to compromise one iota on any of them for a variety of heartfelt reasons. (Memo to arrogant and lazy media: Yeah, yeah, it's because we're all a bunch of racists, blah, blah, blah. Got it.)

So here's the Hundred Trillion Dollar Question: Why do we, as Conservatives, keep voting for the Sit-Down-When-They-G-O-Pee ? (Say it fast, you'll get it.)

For every truth I've listed above, there is a Republican, either in political office or as a useless talking head doing their best to fight against them. The laughable Mitt Trotsky was all for abortion as long as the "mother's life was in danger". TEA Party traitor Pat Toomey allied himself with the radical far left and tried to obliterate the Second Amendment. During the 2008 Popularity Contest, court jester John McLame made cap and trade part of his platform. Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan have decided that illegal alien criminals should be granted amnesty. John McLame (like a bad penny, isn't he ?) teamed up with Pus Feingold and declared war on the First Amendment. Michele Bachmann thinks it's Constitutional and perfectly A-OK to have the NSA spy on American citizens. Rob Portman and Ileana Ros-Lethinen are cheering for homosexual "marriage". Tokyo Rove and Charles Krauthammer are doing their level headed best to make sure that the socialist scam known as Obamacareless is funded. The rotund Chris Christie has never met an Islamonazi that he didn't want to make a judge. I could go on and on about the Weeper of the House and Mitch McConman, but this paragraph is long enough and depressing enough already.

I'm not exactly sold on the idea of a third party, but I'm becoming more and more open to it every day. Sure, there are some rock solid Conservatives in the party and in the media (Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Louie Gohmert, Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, and Rush Limbaugh to name a few), but let's face it, they are becoming marginalized in today's Sit-Down-When-They-G-O-Pee. They're derided as "hobbits" and relegated to the nether regions of the party, despite the fact that the vast majority of the base agrees with them. As their influence wanes, so does our liberty. I don't have all the answers and I'm not going to pretend that I do, but I at least know what question to ask:

Why should I vote GOP ?
